It is with much sadness that our very good friend Michael Hudson has decided to step down from his voluntary role with BUFORA that has lasted more than thirty-two years.
We understand how important it is to spend more quality time with our family and friends, for both our ongoing physical and psychological wellbeing.
The total dedication, commitment and work ethic that Michael has given to us are to be
commended. He has been a fantastic ambassador for BUFORA in all his time with us, and his hard work in all the roles that he held has ,without doubt, contributed to the longevity of our voluntary organisation. He has educated us with his vast array of knowledge, and he will be hugely missed by us all.
The world would be a much better place if we had more people like Michael Hudson. Whatever you do next, Michael, we all wish you the very best of health and happiness.
Adios, but not goodbye our dear friend.
The BUFORA team
A few words from Heather Dixon
I would just like to add how very much we will miss your presence within BUFORA, Michael. It was always so good to know you were here at the helm, working behind the scenes with your depth of knowledge of the history of the subject and the people associated with BUFORA through many years. It is a testament to BUFORA that you gave so much of your free time to us all in the organisation over so many years.
Please know that you will be remembered and missed. I will miss you very much as a colleague and friend through so many years that we have worked together.
I also wish you much joy and laughter with your family, making more memories.
With my warmest personal regards to you and to your family
Heather
